Meet David Henrie

Actor/ Writer/ Director/ Producer

David is well known for playing the role of 'TED'S future son' in the FOX hit, Emmy award-winning show, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER; as well as 'Justin Russo,' on the Disney Channel's highest rated show, WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE, which also received numerous Emmy wins.

David showcases his stripes as a dramatic actor in the Alejandro Monteverde directed, period piece, LITTLE BOY, starring opposite Emily Watson, Tom Wilkinson and Kevin James. Set in WW2, David plays the dramatic role of 'London Busby,' who is forced to become "the man" of the family when his father is sent off to war. LITTLE BOY is set to hit theaters April 24, 2015.

Also releasing in theaters, April 2015, is Columbia Pictures, PAUL BLART MALL COPS 2, where David co-stars along side Kevin James; making this his second Happy Madison Production film, after he joined the franchise, GROWN UPS 2, opposite Adam Sandler, David Spade, Chris Rock and Kevin James.

Next up for David is the upcoming biopic based on the former US President Ronal Reagan. David is set to play 'Reagan' in his teen years as a lifeguard.

In 2014, David wrapped on numerous independent films including: WALT BEFORE MICKEY; a biography on Walt Disney's early life; CARDBOARD BOXERS, co-starring Thomas Haden Church and Terrance Howard; 1000 TO 1: THE CORY WEISSMAN STORY, based on real-life events, of a gifted college athlete, who works to recover from a stroke, playing 'Cory Weissman,' opposite Beau Bridges and Hannah Marks; and the animated film MAX AND ME, playing the role of D.J, about the life of Maximilian Kolbe, a Polish priest who challenges the Nazis.

Numerous other credits, throughout the span of his 15 year professional acting career, include: THE ASSISTANTS for CBS, opposite Heather Locklear, Emily Rutherford and T.J. Miller, produced by Eric and Kim Tannenbaum; ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT; as well as the Walt Disney Feature Film, SECRET WORLD OF ARRIETTY, lending his voice, in the lead role of 'Shawn,' from the book series THE BORROWERS.

David got his first big break at age 12 when he landed a series regular role, playing 'Petey Pitt' on the FOX sitcom, THE PITTS, produced by Mike Scully of THE SIMPSONS. Immediately following, he was picked up by FOX yet again, to play a series regular role on METHOD AND RED. Other comedies include recurring role on THAT'S SO RAVEN. Aside from comedy, David's impressive dramatic chops landed him numerous roles, including: MIND GAMES; COLD CASE; NCIS; HOUSE M.D.; WITHOUT A TRACE; JACK AND BOBBY; JUDGING AMY; THE DA; and HOME OF THE BRAVE.

Aside from acting, David is writing, directing and producing. David's acting experience, as a youth, set the ground-works for the film making business, working along side some of Hollywood's top actors, directors, producers, and writers.

  • By age 20, David earned his WGA eligibility by writing for the three-time Emmy award winning television show, Wizards of Waverly Place, which he also starred in.

  • David wrote, produced and directed a short film called CATCH; a father/son tale of an 8-year old boy who stops at nothing to get what his heart desires. CATCH appeared in over two dozen film festivals internationally and selling on iTunes, Amazon and
  • David produced a documentary in Peru, currently in post-production, where he went with a group of volunteers to follow the true-life story of a blind grandfather raising his 7 year old grandson.
